PROGRAMS – History belongs to everyone. Tammy speaks everywhere and her varied programs suits 

Quilting Talk

Tammy telling the story of quilting

all age groups from adults to young children. This storyteller/teaching artist has programs that can match any school’s language arts curriculum. It encourages students in the fields of history, geography, science, mathematics, reading and writing.

Each program includes an in class visit that consists of a hands on activity and history of time period. Prior to the school visit teachers are given a syllabus and surveys.

PERFORMANCE
– Each historical characterization is performed in period clothing and is approximately 35 to 45 minutes in length, with Q and A to follow.

FOLKTALES - with props and narration are 30 to 45 minutes.

WORKSHOPS - are an hour with hands on activity.

SPACE - Any room is suitable for all programs, although each requires a certain amount of space for the performance or workshops. A platform, if available, increases the viewing pleasure of the audience, especially for large groups.

TRAVEL – When traveling to performance sites outside of New England, a mileage rate and/or air fare cost will be added to the performance fee along with hotel accommodations, if needed. The sponsoring organization can make the arrangements or I can make the arrangements, which will be reimbursed, along with the performance fee.

FEES – Call for information. Generally, a flat rate applies which includes performances and travel costs.
